Your Weekend Forecast: June 2

Despite this being the first weekend forecast of winter, it goes without saying that Burn City is still bringing that dancefloor heat.

Thursday 2nd:

Good Lovin’ w/ Hysteric, RICCI & Senpolo @ The Night Cat

Another week and yes another bloody stellar lineup at Good Lovin’. This week Mothball Records head honco Hysteric takes the reigns. He will be joined by moustache enthusiast RICCI & go to good fella Senpolo. Expect a night of dodgy dance moves on a decadent dance floor.

Friday 3rd:

SUB COMMITTEE 001 w/ Baby Björn @ Caz Reitop’s Basement

A new exciting monthly being held in an intimate Collingwood basement. They have called on 2 of the 4 ears behind record store Cry Baby to soundtrack their inaugural shindig. When Baby Björn straps in for an all night blend, it is always a journey that will keep your dancing shoes working overtime.

¿Club D’érange? w/ Glome (Live) & Daniel Beaton @ The Mercat

If you haven’t been down to the Mercat and gotten D’érange’d then now is your time. If not for a dance to make up for lost time, then do it witness Simon TK’s last sweaty set in The Mercat Basement for quite some time. Word on the street is to expect some extra special trimmings, served up in the form of super special decor and lighting.

Saturday 4th:

Mania w/ Simon TK @ Lounge

This week Mania welcomes ¿Club D’érange? and Wax’o Paradiso president, Simon TK. With a sonic diversity spanning light years, TK leads the charge from the booth this Saturday. Cool Room’s own Sebastian also straddles the wheels, plus Ryan Berkeley and resident rude bois Barry Sunset and 6AM AT THE GARAGE providing auxiliary fuel for the fire.

Friends Of Friends w/ Kyle Hall, András, Tom Moore, Edd Fisher & Simon TK @ Glamorama

Northside really is the place to party this weekend. Coming in hot from Movement Festival and testing out the Funktion One soundsystem at Glam this Saturday is none other than Detroit’s own Kyle Hall. With massive lineup of local support, this day into night bash looks to be a safe bet for seriously good times.

MOON PALACE @ 24 Moons

Moon Palace is back on this weekend in the depths of suburban Northcote. Melbourne head and one half of Zanzibar Chanel Luis CL is joined by Rambl, Pocosmos and Topaz.
